When the bed first arrives, remove all packaging immediately
and allow the mattress to breath for a few hours before placing any
bedding on it. Moisture can build up when a mattress is in it's
wrapping, so airing it, will help the moisture evaporate. |
 |
Air the bed by throwing back the bed sheets for half
an hour before you remake it. |
 |
Turn the mattress every week for the first month, then
turn it once every two to three months. This will allow the
upholstery to settle evenly. It should also be turned occasionally
from head to foot |
 |
Vacuum the mattress carefully, but not on the full
setting, as this may dislodge the fillings. |
 |
If you are an asthma or allergy sufferer, place
washable barrier sheets on the mattress. If you have a latex
mattress this may not be necessary. |
 |
Never roll a sprung mattress, this could damage the
springs |
